CZ7928-100 Kith x Nike Air Force 1 Low “NYC” Releasing On December 18, 2020

Air Max 270, Kith has teamed up with Nike and the New York Knicks for an multi-dimensional capsule that touches on a number of Big Apple connections under one expansive collection. The centerpiece is the oft-previewed Air Force 1 Low “New York”; reviving 2001’s Air Force 1 “Taiwan” design, this upcoming release revisits the city-specific aspect with a white pebbled leather upper, the Nike NYC logo at the heel, the familiar enlarged Swoosh with blue and orange, and translucent soles. In addition, we have Kith branding on the tongue tags and embroidery by the heel. Other details include Metallic Gold lace dubraes, White on the midsole, and an icy translucent outsole.
The bold sneaker hasn’t received its debut Nike Air More Uptempo Black/White colorway since April 2016. Since then, the Scottie Pippen-endorsed sneaker has seen iridescent Purple, Chinese New Year-inspired Red/Gold, and even a collaborative trio with Supreme, among other outfits. Yet, the Uptempo’s best release is arguably its first. There’s nothing innately special about the sneaker’s mostly “Black” arrangement, especially when comparing it to landscape in the ’90s, but the simple colorway has allowed the signature “AIR” lettering to make a statement all on its own. Outlined in “White” and covering both sidewalls, the oversized characters were inspired by of-their-era graffiti and Pop Art. And when complemented with a handful of varying-sized Swoosh logos and chunky midsoles, the “AIR” branding becomes just one piece of the audacious-recipe that’s made the Air More Uptempo a classic.
This Air Jordan 13 Starfish comes dressed in a White, Black and Starfish color combination. Like many of the silhouette’s best, the color blocking follows a simple, two-toned treatment that leads with the titular shade. Orange suedes accent both the mudguard as well as the heel, complemented adjacent by white tumbled leathers. These, which overlay along both the medial and lateral profile, bear their the usual arrangement of indents and texture, contrasting the toe box whose crinkles are far more tame. Then, you can find black neutrals atop the lining and sole, while the signature emblem along the heel bears a green holographic.
