The mt nba 2k21 myplayer mode there has been an insane grind, and it appears to have only gotten worse. And of course all of the ads, VC pushed down your throat, etc.. 2K and EA largely ignore the rest of the sport and concentrate on how they could suckle on your wallet only a little bit tougher every year. What annoys me even more is that they shoehorned the myplayer crap into the GM mode too.
I just want to do a fantasy draft or reconstruct a dreadful team, I don't beg na do a cutscene discussion with my owner to get more budget and I don't beg na have to cover VC to upgrade my free agency abilities so Dion Waiters does not try to fleece me for a maximum deal. For me the myplayer has gotten worse and worse as they include more non-basketball stuff. I grew up in 2K19 as soon as my player got into the nba because for every game I was playing 30 seconds (because you start as a 60 overall) then having to sit through 5 minutes of loading screens for the next game.
I'd sit down for one hour of 2K and only actually play with 5 minutes of basketball.Honestly this confront scan thing has to be a meme at this time, only generates trash year in, year out. All this energy and a random face generator will likely do better. I mean that it really sorta looks like him from a side-angle, it's just the hair and skin color which are so blatantly off... it has gotbetter with every iteration but it's still not where it should be. I didn't notice until the camera panned to me that my character's face complexion was the whitest sour cream white while the rest of his skin was normal due to my selfie lighting. Probably principles. Unskippable cutscenes, can't sim matches and gain stats, stats are bound to your type of player, it all really disturbs me and I bet you get all the same fun things I actually do like.
The myplayer is your best career mode of any sport. No bullshit inside, begin off shit and can only improve via matches. The franchise mode is course too, loads of features not in the buy nba 2k21 mt more recent games. My cousins are large sports game lovers (they are the kind of guys who perform 2K and Fortnite but nothing else) and he always explained to me that he didn't buy each year due to mechanics or anything, he just wanted new rosters. In recent years they've tried adding new stuff like the higher quality story modes and so on, so if you skip every other year you are likely more enthusiastic about releases. You can get updated rosters and download them.
